Aloha Kine Chili

Easy to make and sweet, sweet, sweet! So here's the recipe, Enjoy!

1 cup sliced Portuguese Sausage (add more or less to taste)
1 pound Ground Beef
1 8oz can Tomato Sauce
1 cup Ketchup
1 cup water
2 teaspoon Shoyu (Soy sauce)
1 16oz can of Red Kidney Beans, drained
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water

Fry Portuguese sausage in a small pot. Add hamburger and cook until brown. Drain excess oil. Add tomato sauce, ketchup, water, chili powder and shoyu. Bring to a boil then turn down heat to simmer for 10 minutes. After simmering, add kidney beans. Then add cornstarch mixture to chili, stirring to thicken according to your taste. Serve over hot white rice!

Note: I use more Portuguese sausage than called for in this recipe. Also, I use Linguica sausage but if you want more 'kick' to this chili, then use Chourico sausage.

Can't wait to try this! I love chili and I love *real* hawaiian food -- this seems to be a bit of both:)
